Cookie policy
Version 0.1 (draft, not yet in force)
Your choice: . You can change it at any time.
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work the same way. This policy covers all of them.
1. Essential storage (always on)
This storage is strictly necessary for the site and the games to work. It doesn't need your consent, and none of it is used to track you or show ads.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
treptes-consent | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choices. | Until you change them or clear your browser data |
treptes-theme | Local storage | Remembers the light, dark or system theme you picked. | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
Game data (flutter.*) | Local storage | Saves your progress, settings, statistics and the game in progress on your device. | Until you clear your browser data |
Sign-in (firebase*) | Local storage / IndexedDB | Keeps you signed in, only if you sign in. | Until you sign out |
2. Analytics (only if you accept)
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to count visits and see how the site and the games are used, so we can make them better. It works with a random identifier, not your name, and we don't use it for ads. If you refuse, these cookies are never set.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells visits from different browsers apart. | 2 years | |
_ga_7J64LQT002 | Keeps the state of the current visit. | 2 years |
3. Your choice
On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice; refusing is as easy as accepting, and refusing never stops you from playing. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the top of this page, which is linked as Cookies at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies.
You can also delete or block cookies and site data in your browser's settings. Keep in mind that deleting the site data also deletes a guest's game progress, because it is stored in your browser. Signing in keeps your progress safe in your account.
Ads for free players may come later; before they use any cookies, this page will list them and the banner will ask for your consent.
